How did I become a professional pet sitter? I decided to become a pet sitter when I needed a pet sitting service myself. I diligently searched for someone to stay with my dog, with no luck. After much consideration, I decided I did not want to leave him caged in a kennel.  I felt bad to leave him locked in a cage 23 hours out of the day, scared and intimidated by the other dogs.

That’s when  I realized the great need for a pet sitter service in my area!

A few years later, I’m living my dream and a life that’s personally very satisfying to me. I have had the extreme pleasure of taking care of many wonderful pets! As well as the peace of mind I know I’m giving pet parents when they leave their furry friend in my care!

I don’t hire out or have employees,  I’m the sole proprietor and I will never be sending anyone to your home in my place.

I have been fervent about animals since I was a child and this love for animals has grown over the years. I have been pet parent to many dogs as well as cats. I grew up as the kid who took in strays and have been lucky enough to have raised 8 dogs to a contented old age and 4 cats who all lived well into their 20’s.

I have a 40 year old daughter who currently lives in California – she attended UCLA for Nursing, found a job and decided to live there. I don’t have any grandchildren as of yet, unfortunately. There are no children in house, but my dog Eddie loves the company of other dogs! My husband Kaz loves the pets that come into our home and treats them like they’re his own! Your pet will more than likely find a comfortable spot on Kaz’ belly while he’s watching tv, no matter what size your pet is!  My family and home life centers around the pets in our life, whether its yours or mine, they come first in our house.

Before becoming a pet sitter, I worked in help desk IT operations and I have an AAS in computer design and worked in the field for 25 years. Not nearly as fulfilling as being a pet sitter – I love being involved in the lives of so many beloved pets!

Eddie in February! Brrrrrr…it’s cold!!

Currently, my fur baby Eddie is 9 years old – I rescued him from the fate of a puppy mill when he was 4 months old. 🙂

As a pet parent, I fully understand and appreciate how invaluable it is to have a reliable, trustworthy and conscientious pet sitter to care for your pets in your absence.

As a professional pet sitter, my mission is simple: Keep your pets loved, happy and secure while you’re away. You’ll have the peace of mind you need that comes from knowing your pets are completely safe and receiving the personal care and attention they deserve while you’re away.

In addition to wanting to provide impeccable care for your pets, and peace of mind for you, I started this company because when I travel ~ I worry about who I would hire for my own pet sitter that will provide responsible, loving care for my own pets. It’s very important to me that my clients feel comfortable knowing their pets are in great hands with me as their pet sitter and to not worry about a thing when they are away. We stay in touch with you while you are away, via email, text or by phone.

A pet sitter with the highest standards.

I have VERY high standards for my pets and their care as a pet owner.  Consequently, I have implemented that into what I do now ~ caring for others’ pets in a responsible, loving, and thorough manner. I truly love this work, and love all my client’s pets as I love my own.

My goal is to create a bond with my clients as their pet sitter and with their beloved pets that will last a lifetime. We are fully insured, CPR Pet First Aid certified and Background Checked.

I’m also involved in other community and pet sitters projects, such as:
